Hackersley Estate has answered all your prayers when it comes to gourmet food and wine.

A "must do" is this wonderful family run venue over looking rolling hills and vineyards of Ferguson Valley.

On arrival it goes without saying that an introduction to the the wine sets the tone for the rest of your afternoon. Our personal favourite was the newly released Rose, which goes down a little too easily.

Adrie and Aaron Devitt are the owners/chefs/ maîtred of this establishment that has been their passion for the last 15 years.

If you strike it lucky you may hear Adrie singingas part of the Sunday Jazz sessions which you can register on the website to keep up to date with.

The friendly and welcoming feeling of the restaurant is reflected in the delightful degustation menu that is brought to the table with minimal fuss, your wine glass is seamlessly topped up, as you make your way through some of the best locally sourced produce the region has to offer.
